nr 1 erinnert mich an homeboy-zeiten (nix gegen serval an sich .. der mann ist gut aber hier .. ähh), nummer zwei ist halt so ziemlich in ordnung und bei nummer drei gehen die props raus an can two, der den scheiss bis zur perfektion schon durchgekaut hat .. arm!
kann mir aber gut vorstellen, dass der tribal-konzern mehr worte mitzureden hatte und da schön marktorientiert auf den gleisen bleiben will .. auch arm.
toll platz 3 kriegt 10 Shirts. Und wieviel Kohle macht Tribal? Wer bei sowas mitmacht, dem is echt nicht mehr zu helfen. Und was hat Tribal draus gelernt? Rege teilnahme für ein Appel und ein Ei warum also richtige bzw. an der Wertschöpfung angemessene Bezahlung für Illustratoren/Künstler rausrücken?

da waren eindeutig bessere designs bei.
das sieht alles so -entschuldigt mir den ausdruck- mainstreamgraffiti mäßig aus,
sowas könnte genau so gut auf einem C&A T-shirt zu finden sein.

nr 2 ist wohl der modische aspekt im vordergrund gestanden
nr 3 entweder can2 oder ein abklatsch……
schade hätte schon mehr erwartet als diese top 3
will die Macher der 3 Gewinner Shirts jetzt einfach mal nicht speziell kritisieren (Can2 Abklatsch hin oder her, whatever) was mich aber aufregt ist das keines dieser Shirts überhaupt zu Tribal passt, wundert mich das Tribal die ausgesucht hat … hmm naja egal

All of the winners look like shit Tribal is supposed to be hardcore not some stupid trashy
joke like this false competition has turned out to be. There were several entries that actually
had artistic merit, but instead they chose three entries that are not only uninspired but are down
right piss poor. I wanted to see any entry win that was true to the soul of Tribal not some D rate
art students vomited up Illustrator bullshit!

Respect the winners, and dont curse because then you are just a lousy loser.
And think about that Tribal got enough people that make great designs in the “tribal style”, so maybe the idea of the contest was to find something new and fresh.Graffiti and illustration is not just one style or theme, so i am happy that all those who tried to copy&paste the tipical Tribal style failed.Its easy to COPY, hard to be FRESH!

aber naja.. tribal fand ich eh schon immer einfallslos..
I really could care less if my own design won and I agree that a poor imitation of Tribal would not
have been the correct choice, but that doesn’t change the fact that the winners are piss poor and
you must be blind not to see that there were several other options that were not only original but were also true to the spirit of Tribal with out ripping off any other designs. And I refuse to give any form of respect to three shirt designs that could barely pass as the shit shirts they sell at Wall-mart.
