In Kürze erscheint eine DVD mit dem Titel “Taken By A Vandal”. 140 Minuten unterwegs mit 18 Akteuren der deutschen Trainwriting Szene, darunter Agit, Becky & Stace, Creme, Geier, Most, Samsn, Syro und Taps. Ein POV (Point Of View) 3D Film, also ein Streifen der die Aktionen aus der Sicht der Writer zeigt, gedreht mit einer bzw zwei Kopfkameras. Bevor die DVD erscheint gibt´s eine Installation vom Macher, die ist am 20.Januar 2012 auf der BYOB im NRW Forum Düsseldorf zu sehen. TAKEN BY A VANDAL
A DVD version of “TAKEN BY A VANDAL” will be launched and available in stores at the beginning of 2012. Eighteen of the most recognized and respected German sprayers will be on this DVD which will demonstrate them doing Graffiti in live action. This DVD version will be converted into Anaglyphmodus in order to ensure use on standard television devices.
Not only is the subcultural scene itself addressed as a target group for this project, but moreover, a wider audience is attempting to be reached. The activists can take this new approach and can adapt it as a new tradition of a good documentation of their subculture. For the first time it will be possible for the general public to access and dive into a strange, but ubiquitous world. A look behind the scenes of this usually inaccessible scene makes the mystery graffiti accessible to all.
