RAZOR aus dem Norden der Republik holt eine Style Studie nach, dizwar bereits 15 Jahre auf dem Buckel hat aber trotzdem in die heutige Zeit passt!
15 Jahre sind vergangen als die Zeichnungen im Rahmen der Animation (RAZOR Study of Style in 1998) entstanden sind.
Die Inspiration für die Animation ist sicherlich aus dem Intro des legendären Films Wild Style entstanden, indem der New Yorker Style Master Zephyr für die Zeichnungen des Wild Style Intro zuständig war.
Bei der Animation (RAZOR Study of Style in 1998) geht es nicht um eine Einleitung eines Unterhaltungsfilms, sondern um die sachliche Auseinandersetzung eines individuellen Buchstabenstils ohne Filmeffekte und Sounds. Als Ausgangspunkt wurden einfache serifenbetonten Buchstaben gewählt, die als Rohmaterial dienen, um verschiedene Stilrichtungen und Lichteffekte zu studieren.
The drawings for the animation (RAZOR Study of Style in 1998) are 15 years old.
The inspiration for the animation certainly comes from the intro of the legendary film Wild Style by the New York Style Master Zephyr who was responsible for the drawings of the Wild Style Intro.
The animation (RAZOR Study of Style in 1998) is not an introduction of an entertainment film. The objective consideration of the individual letterstyle without movie effects and sounds were the point of view. As a starting point simple letters were selected to study different style directions and lighting effects.
