Das TRULY DESIGN Kollektiv hat eine interessante Wandarbeit im Rahmen des 39C Graffiti Jams Bolzano gestaltet, inspiriert von “Die Gesandten”, ein bekanntes Gemälde von Hans Holbein, entstanden im Frühjahr 1533 in London. Zu den verstörenden und ungeklärten Details innerhalb des Originalbildes von Holbein wird ein matt silbrig glänzende Kruzifix links oben sowie der zum Anamorph verzerrte Totenschädel gezählt, der sich nur aus extremer Nahsicht von rechts nach links unten erkennen lässt. Mehr dazu hier auf Wikipedia. Die Arbeit von TRULY DESIGN zeigt ausserdem verschiedene Motive (angelehnt an Dante´s “Three Beasts”) aus drei unterschiedlichen Perspektiven:
“We painted this anamorphic graffiti at the 2013 39C Graffiti Jam in Bolzano. Seen from the front, it represents Dante’s “three beasts”, which represented humanity’s three main sins. The wolf is greed, the lion represents pride, and the lynx stands for lust. As narrated in the first chapter of the Divine Comedy, these are the sins which would lead man to perdition, hence death. So the whole composition is shaped as a skull visible from the second point of view, at an angle with the wall. The piece was entirely drawn by hand, without the help of projectors and inspired by the famous work of Hans Holbein’s “The Ambassadors” of 1533.” TRULY DESIGN
