Many of you might remember the TAKEN BY A VANDAL DVD project (Stylefile, 2012), a film with a running time of 180 minutes playing point of view footage only featuring graffiti artists like Agit, Becky & Stace, Creme, Geier, Most, Samsn, Syro, Taps, Zay and many more. A point of view shot (also known as POV shot, First-person shot or a subjective camera) is a film scene that shows what a person/the writer is looking at while doing his thing, represented through the camera. The technique of POV is one of the foundations of film editing and is in very popular use since a few years by many graffiti writers all around the world.
In April 2016 a group called PointOfViewTV (PRE O.V. Video) from Berlin announced the release of another movie with mostly point of view trainwriting footage. The DVD Movie is out now and features 100 minutes of train actions filmed in Berlin, Cologne, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Milano, Belgium, Athens and more.
The movie is available here at Stylefile, Writers Corner Berlin and Graffitiboxshop.
