You are not gonna see many big budget, mainstream movies featured here at ILG, but with this one I have to make an exception. The Spirit by Will Eisner is one of the best and most important comics of all times. Reading it when I was younger made a big impression on me, especially the awesome graphics and insanely creative blockbuster letters. Later on I found so many parallels to graffiti and found out Will Eisner even did full pages romanticising graffiti and graffiti writers in the urban landscape, again way ahead of his time. Now the comic comes to life, in the hands of none other than Frank Miller, can’t wait to see this one…
