From October the 5th to the 9th 2009 the city of Lueneburg will be transformed into a public exhibition space for leading figures of the international Urban Art scene. Under the auspices of Leuphana University‘s Welcome
Week, this urban art presentation will bring together a host of international artists, the University community and the municipality of Lueneburg.

This Panel discussion held in Harlem regarding the desecration of murals. There has been a several vandalism attacks against New York’s historical murals. So, an open discussion with James TOP, Manuel Vega, Vagabond, Janet Braun-Reinitz
was held to determine whether Graffiti is just as important a part of the community voice, just like the murals. Moderated by Frank Perezwas (via)

Sad news here at ILG this morning, one of Copenhagens last graffiti sanctuaries and wonderful alternative spaces, Bolsjefabrikken (The Candy Factory) at Nørrebro, faces closing on September 17th.
