Please mess in Texas

Posted:   Posted By: twik

In Texas, USA, politicians are looking to tighten laws on graffiti. Proposals include:
Get popped once for writing on a wall, and kiss your driver’s license goodbye for up to a year. If it’s the third time you’ve been nabbed for tagging of any kind, be prepared to serve time — up to two years — in state jail.
And stores that carry spray paint would be required to record every sale and maintain a log for at least two years. The bill would also give local governments the authority to implement a tax of up to $1 on all spray can sales. The money generated would be used exclusively for local graffiti abatement projects.
Read all about the proposal in the land of the free here.
