Man Ooman

It doesn’t get any better than this, a documentary from two of Copenhagens finest Rosforth & RasMoney, a film about Jamaican butt-shaking. A dancing style and flourishing subculture that exists in Jamaica and gets exported to the rest of the world through dvds, music videos and the internet. This documentary shows the environment from which the dance evolves and the gender roles that play out in the society around it. It premieres soon at the Copenhagen Documentray Film Festival CPH DOX

Bridge bummer!

Even National Geographic can get it wrong! Found this photo on their website with the following text:
“Graffiti covers the side of a ship in one of Denmark’s many harbors. Vandalism is rare in this exceptionally peaceful, orderly society where a mere 2 percent of the national budget is spent on police, prisons, and courts. A common saying in the patriotic nation holds that “Denmark is a land where few have too much and even fewer have too little,” a fact that they attribute to keeping the crime levels low.”
Little did they know that this is a photo of the tower on the Knippelsbro Brigde in Central Copenhagen. Notice several international tags on it from 1996 when Copenhagen hosted the now legendary Subkult Festival…

Wondering about a video
Posted: Posted By: twik
This video made me wonder about two things.
1. Do the West Midlands Police in the UK really think that this video will help prevent graffiti?
2. What sell-out writers did the graffiti at the very end of this video?
