Hurricane update!
Good news coming from city hall in Copenhagen.
The only official legal wall in Copenhagen, at Nørrebro Station, have been down since the hurricane in February.
The insurance company wouldn’t cover the damage claims, so last night there was a vote at city hall, should extra money be given for repairs or should the spot be closed down?
Thanks to the following left-wing politicians, Peter Thiele, Ayfer Baykal, Marialise Rømer, Muhammad Aslam, Taner Yilmaz, Simon Strange and Allan Ahmad the 55.000 kroner (7400eu.) was granted!!
The spot lives on!
After the vote the group had the following text added to the protocol:
“Vi blæser på at graffitivæggen er røget ind i lidt stormvejr og støtter op om kunsten og den lovlige graffiti i både medvind og modvind.”
