“I made a catalogue of my works,” he says, “because it was too much to carry photographs of all my works in an album. I played with Photoshop and made a catalogue, but I wasn’t really happy with how it turned out, so it seemed better to have a book – with an introduction, sections. I proposed it to Spisanie 1 and they really liked it – I just showed it to them – and we decided to make a book of it. They wrote the text and did the design, and there it was.”Bulgarian Finest, Naste from the NTN Crew published a book called “Napalm Graffx in 2007. Check the preview at Naste´s blog. Shepard Fairey aka Obey must have done so much media at the Democratic convention in Denver, besides getting arrested, creating gallery artwork, DJ’ing and hitting the streets with posters. Here is yet another interesting interview where he also explains how he helped raise more than 600.000 $ for the Obama campaign along with his wellknown artwork.

You might have seen this photo on the internet during this summers Olympics. The Spanish womens synchronized swimteam wore suits with a Can2 character after their original suits were banned for not following offical rules. Now Can2 decided to sue the The Spanish Olympic Committee for misuse of his image. More here at this Wall Street Journal blog.

In 2007 Copenhagen was turned upside down by the worst riots in modern times. The reason was the military, antiterror-corps and police clearing and demolishing the beloved Ungdomshuset, aka the Youthhouse, at Jagtvej 69. After the crazy three-day riots, a new plan was put into effect and for more than a year, weekly demonstrations and figthing the power paid off and a new house was finally granted to the Ungdomshuset movement. And this upcoming Saturday 18th of October its time for the Grand Opening Party at the new house. Be there…
