ILG Classic Shit Series

This next video was a fun one to watch back in the 90’s. An American talkshow, like we all know and hate, hosted by Gabrielle aka Andrea 90210 and with the special, controversial topic of graffiti called “Stop thrashing my neighborhood” Uuuuh… On the panel are bombing king Gkae and Skert, dishing out answers left and right to the anti-graffiti campaigners and the ridicioulous questions from the working class, redneck audience. Also some clips of MSK and AWR painting walls. Great fun!

Max Payne graffiti campaign.

Posted:   Posted By: twik

Looks like the new Max Payne movie , featuring Mark Wahlberg as a vigilante cop and rapper Ludacris among others, has a graffiti promotion campaign to go with it. Writers are doing billboards on both coast in America to promote the new film. Here is a NYC billboard done by Ces.
And here is a nice little video about a few billboards getting done in California by Toons, Tazrock and Cre8.

We finish of with a fresh trailer done in graphicnovel style for the movie…

Bye bye bluebirds

The Copenhagen trainscene has for the past year been focused on something new, or more correctly, something old. After 20 years with the main focus on the old red, flat S-trains, many writers turned elsewhere when they got replaced by the new spaceships. The new playground became the old long distance trains that for decades had travelled the countryside in the usual red colour. But DSB decided to give them new make up in form of blue foil and use them them for one last mission before replacing them too with new models. Luckily for the writers, the new trains, IC4 from AnsaldoBreda, kept getting delayed and the old blue ones kept rolling without much buffing. But now it looks like their time has come. Today DSB revealed a new plan to have them all replaced with fancy doubledeckers from Bombardier by the end of 2009, also the German ICE trains will be used more in the crossborder traffic to Germany… So while we wait for the blue dream to end, here is a few nice panels…

New Martha Cooper interview, where she reveals the following when talking about Subway Art: “Henry Chalfant and I are working on the 25th anniversary special edition. It’s going to be a lot bigger, jammed with almost all photos.”
Wow! Here at ILG we are already making room on the bookshelf for that one…
