Double dose of Næstved funk

Posted:   Posted By: twik

Keeping with the Næstved theme, I dug up two old danish hiphop videos from Næstveds own Hvid Sjokolade (White Chocolate). The first one “Det En Sjoko Ting” (Its a choko thing) features a fresh background mural by CMPSPIN…

And the second is directed by none other than CMP himself, features cool b/w footage of late nineties Copenhagen and is called Kronisk Fastelavn (Cronic Halloween)

Dare talking and painting in CMP City

Posted: 2. April 2009  Posted By: twik

Today, Dare from TheWildSide gave a lecture at Næstved Gymnasium in Denmark. Attending in the auditorium was around 50 people of all ages, and they got to see a nice slideshow and listen to Dare words to the images. Among the subjects touched upon was the famous Basel train line, graffiti and the streetart movement and the Carhartt Gallery in Weil, close to Basel, Switzerland that Dare is permanently curating.
Thanks to Dare for some interesting words and thanks to CMP for organising everything.

Bravo artfag media

Here is a great example of a media trying to be hip, but failing epicly.
Danish newspaper Politkens wanna-bee hip Friday section iByen (Out on the town) recently held one of those pointless awardshows nobody really see the point of, nominating streetartist and hip cultural things a year or two after they blew up. The logo for the award even featured graffiti. And to create hype about the award they pasted up poster around Copenhagen with the nominees, the sponsor logos and so on, on top of what? Graffiti. Bravo artfag media!
